Objective: To build a Data warehouse to support Manufacturing
Biotech companies rely a lot on maintaining competitive cycle times and making sure the number of non-conformances was kept to a minimum. Understanding this need, Nakunj analyzed some of the key metrics – cycle times and conformance rates. As Nakunj believe to provide actionable intelligence; it developed a data warehouse, which enabled a company to identify the area of improvement. The dashboards provided high-level metrics on how the company performed with respect to cycle times and conformance. Once the executives found an area that needed improvement, they were able to drill-down to the specific plant and location. They were also able to analyze the exceptions based on multiple dimensions such as Time, and Product.

The tactical requirements were related to Claims processing, Call-center analytics and Customer retention. These requirements were addressed using subject-area data marts, which would eventually become the spokes in a hub-and-spoke strategic architecture.
